Jeeremie,

Thanks for the great tutorial. I think this has not been addressed or I have not been able to find it after lots of searching.

Can the login button be fixed at the top of the header but still push the content down, no matter where the user is on the screen?

http://24.125.42.135/ for my example.

hello, great script!

i've got it working from the bottom and starting expanded.

the only problem is that the toggle links aren't working as expected.

when i click on the "close" link (which is first since it starts expanded) it toggles from "close" to "open" yet doesn't collapse. if i click it again it'll collapse but it also toggles from "open" to "close" and be backwards all the time so that it says "close" but it's really expanding and visa versa.

any idea on why this is happening?

thanks!

Wonderful work!

I would like to use it as a drop-down menu. How can I get the panel to close after someone clicks on an <a link?

Thank you very much!

Question about the license, is it allowed to use this in WordPress themes for sale? Full credit and link would be back to you of course, it wouldn't be sold as is, but built into a theme. Just wanted to check..thanks!

For my main site (http://pixel-relish.com/new/index_combo.html) I edited your CSS to lock the slider to the bottom margin. Then, for iPad/iPhone I created an alternate location (with alternate graphics) because one cannot lock anything to the bottom of the view pane in iPad/iPod. I can get each slider working as designed so long as I keep them on separate pages EVEN when each references the same combo CSS file (one that comments out the regular for iPad and the iPad for regular) and combo slide.js file. But when I try to paste the iPad version's html into the normal version's html to create a combo page, the slide no longer works on the iPad (still works in a computer browser). I am trying to NOT have to maintain two sites (one regular, one iPad). I assume I am missing a clearing element or something that I need to add to the combo document, but none of the ones I have tried have had a useful effect, and I admittedly am NOT a developer (merely a designer who has learned basic coding to better design for what is possible + reasonably safe). Could I possibly get your help on the combo document? I am happy to give you credit for input :-) Once I can solve the problem on the new home page, I can figure out how to create similar CSS for the interior pages, where I plan to use graphics specific to each page (to match the center color of that page). In other words, lots of not too complicated derivations from your basic script that perhaps will help people see how flexible what you've developed is :-) Standard page is pixel-relish.com/new/; iPad-functional one is pixel-relish.com/index_ipad.html; combo nonfunctional one is pixel-relish.com/new/index_combo.html. Thanks!

The slider seems to work as it should, but…when i click inside one of the field to fill in information, it slides further down the site. And when im clicking inside another field, it slides up again. How come? Any solution.

Hello Jeremie,
