The slider will dropdown on click, but I can’t close it.
Any idea what’s going on?

can you look at this, it works with ie8 but in google chrome first click you can’t see after close and open then you can see the slidebar

1) Why not doing it for mootools as well? I smiled when I saw ‘new version’ and then BAM.. jQuery.

2) IMHO it’s lacking 2 useful options:

a) choosing whether it ’sticks’ to the top or not (like the old Facebook bar on the bottom, but here on top instead – remember it can be used for other user-oriented purposes then while logged in already and some might like it better if always visible)

b) choosing the old “pushing” effect

I would also recommend you and aesthetic fix: currently when the panel slides down its content is ‘revealed’ instead of sliding down with it, which would look much better.

..but IE8 tends to slow down at toggle and goes off with an abrupt slidedown! not sure if any1 els facing similar problem!!
..n dats ok…it stil rocks..
